To make your gift go further, generous donors have provided matching dollars to double the gift to the fund of your choice. Here are this year's matching opportunities:

GIFTS IN GENERAL

GIFTS IN PERSON

Get matched up to $500 per household when you make your gift in person at the #GivingTuesday Headquarters in Corbett Center Aggie Lounge on the Las Cruces campus between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on #GivingTuesday. A total of $95,000 is available for matching to any charitable fund across the NMSU system.

ONLINE GIFTS

Get matched up to $500 per household when you make your gift online at giving.nmsu.edu between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on #GivingTuesday. A total of $100,000 is available for matching to any charitable fund across the NMSU system.

FIRST-TIME DONORS

Make your first gift and get matched up to $500 per household online OR in person at #GivingTuesday Headquarters on November 27. Only $25,000 is available for matching to any charitable fund across the NMSU system, so get your gift in quick!

GIFTS TO SPECIAL FUNDS

AGGIE CUPBOARD

Proud Aggie alumni, who believe in the mission of Aggie Cupboard, will match your gift of any amount to NMSU’s Aggie Cupboard dollar-for-dollar. A total of $2,000 will be available for matching on gifts to NMSU-Las Cruces’ Aggie Cupboard and $1,500 will be used toward matching for gifts to NMSU-Alamogordo’s Aggie Cupboard.

CHILE PEPPER INSTITUTE ENDOWED CHAIR

Generous Aggie donors will match your gift of any amount - up to $650 - to support the Chile Pepper Institute Endowed Chair. An endowed chair is used to recruit and retain talented faculty to NMSU.

DEBORAH M. WIDGER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

A generous Aggie couple will match your gift of any amount - up to $3,600 - to the Deborah M. Widger Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship supports New Mexico students studying Horticulture in the College of ACES.

ELAINE R. CORDOVA ATHLETIC TRAINING PROGRAM ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

A generous Aggie donor will match your gift of any amoutn - up to $2,500 - to the Elaine R. Cordova Athletic Training Program Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship supports NMSU junior and senior students in the Athletic Training Program who have demonstrated a passion for the profession through volunteer efforts and attendance at professional conferences.

GLEASON-CROCKETT-GLENN FAMILY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

Jeanne Gleason '74 '77, will match your gift of any amount - up to $1,000 - to the Gleason-Crockett-Glenn Family Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship supports students in the College of ACES with preference shown to female students whose county of legal residence is Lea, New Mexico.

JAMES T. FISHER ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

A generous Aggie couple will match your gift of any amount - up to $4,600 - to the James T. Fisher Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship supports students in the College of ACES who are studying horticulture and have an interest in New Mexico's forests and woodlands.

JOSEPH S. CORDOVA AIR FORCE ROTC ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

A generous Aggie donor will match your gift of any amount - up to $2,500 - to the Joseph S. Cordova Air Force ROTC Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship, which honors a 32-year veteran of the Air Force who served during the Korean War, supports NMSU students enrolled in the Air Force ROTC program.

R.W. LUDWICK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

A generous Aggie couple will match your gift of any amount - up to $5,010 - to the RW Ludwick Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship supports female senior students who are studying Horticulture in the College of ACES.

TOMBAUGH SCHOLARS PROGRAM

Amy Simon '97, a senior scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, will match donations of any amount up to $2,500 to NMSU's Tombaugh Scholars Program in the Astronomy Department. Learn more about the program here.

WILLIAM EAMON SOCIAL JUSTICE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

Honors College Dean Miriam Chaiken and Dr. William Eamon will match your gift of any amount - up to $1,000 - to the William Eamon Social Justice and Community Engagement Scholarship in the Honors College. This scholarship supports Crimson Scholar students who have demonstrated leadership in community engagement, service and social justice issues.
