The NMSU Foundation, Inc. - comprised of University Advancement and the Office of Alumni Relations - is dedicated to building relationships and generating support for NMSU's students, teaching, research and public service missions. This is accomplished through a strategic effort that merges our Foundation, University Advancement, Alumni Relations and Aggie Athletic Club teams.
As the oldest public institution of higher education in the state, NMSU reaches far and wide with campuses, extension and research centers in communities throughout all 33 counties in New Mexico. The impact NMSU has on the more than 14,000 current students and over 145,000 living alumni is infinite. That impact increases when private support is involved, which is exactly what we strive to do in the Foundation. We actively foster long-term relationships with our alumni, supporters and community in order to secure, manage and protect sustainable sources of private resources that help provide scholarships to students, and boost the ability of NMSU to fulfill its land grant mission.
Our Alumni Association is the oldest program at NMSU, created on May 24, 1898. Our alumni are now spread all over the world. The alumni network is often pivotal in helping new graduates integrate into new locations, professions and in finding success after college. We have just launched the Always an Aggie online platform that allows alumni to reconnect with old friends, rediscover classmates, share memories and updates in an all-Aggie environment. The Always an Aggie network is also available for parents, student organizations, and current NMSU students, faculty and staff. When you get a chance, visit Always an Aggie and sign up!
We invite you to visit the NMSU Foundation links throughout the website to learn more about the people and programs that have helped make the university what it is today. From learning more about events happening to the Foundation's role in the university community, this website will serve as a guiding resource. We are very glad you’re part of our Aggie family. Once an Aggie, always an Aggie.
